i tried to make 'ponyo' have a more playful sound than my other albums. yet, i still wanted to make some darker sounding songs. also, i wanted to have some live instruments on this album. there is live guitar in 'cotton candy' and live uke in 'ponyo' and 'ambient', as well as a live grand piano which sounds surprisingly good in 'plastic flowers' i hope these beats can make you feel happy.

when making music, do not doubt yourself. no matter how corny or cliche something may sound, always go on with it in the end. its better to have something you aren't necessarily proud of than nothing. plus, you can alway go back and revise what you were working on.
